Taylor’s nightly sleep routine

Ever want to know how you can get the most out of your beauty sleep, check out my nightly sleep routine for more. 

At night around 7:00 pm, I am usually not on my device unless I must and if using a device of any kind, you can use warm light or blue light blocking glasses. 

For evening rejuvenation before I go to bed at 11:10pm, I do the following things:

Yoga for 15-30 minutes 

Drink protein milk and/or eating fruit. 

Aromatherapy: I use a diffuser featuring lavender, orange, peppermint, and eucalyptus essential oils to allow the room to smell good overnight and awaken the senses. For alternative use, you can use a purifier.

Write down 5 things your grateful for

Bedtime stretches:

Childs Pose 2x for 30 seconds.

Figure 4 2x for 15 seconds

Bridge Poses 2x for 20 seconds  

Lying flat on the bed clenching your fists to tense up the body to release tension. 

Watching tv for 15 minutes before falling asleep or reading a book to avoid sleep deprivation. 

Meditate for 30 minutes to 1 hour to drift off into deep sleep.
